Alas, my doctor's appointment came. I am seeing Dr. Bump at Northwood OB/GYN. I love Dr. Bump! I can't say enough good things about him!! He is awesome! Even Zach thinks he's great... My first appoinment, Dr. Bump did an ultrasound right there. Turns out that he couldn't see the heartbeat on the screen. So we weren't sure why... He had me come back 10 days later to retry... and YES!! There was a heartbeat!! It was sooooo awesome to see that in the screen! Even though the baby is only 1/2 inch long, he still has a heartbeat!! I truely have a miracle from God growing inside of me... And I love it. I am only 71/2 weeks along and already I am so inlove with this little one inside of me. 

  We are hoping for a boy... :) But won't find out for a while. Because I am so skinny and have a short torso, my little tummy has already started to pop out. I find my pants do not fit me anymore and have been taught a little trick so that I don't have to go right out and by new pants. A little hair tie is all I need. I'm sure you women know what I am talking about ;)

  Kinda funny with my due date - March 24th. Annie - my little niece was born on that day this year. My grandmother-in-law's birthday is the 25th. My dad's birthday is the 25th as well - and last but not least Zach's birthday is the 29th. That is going to be a fun week:) Birthday presents for everyone!!! :) Ha -

  Speaking of my husband... I miss him alot. For those of you who don't know he has been in Honduras on a missions trip with my pastor. He left on Sunday, the 3rd and won't be back until the wee hours of the morning on Tuesday. the 12th. This has been one hard week for me. Thank God that He has been with me through the whole week. I have not been feeling totally up to par with the baby and just being alone is... Lonely. ::sigh:: I can't wait for Tuesdsay! :) I know... only 5 days left... I can do it!!! "I can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens me!!"  I have been practicing that alllll week. :)

  Well there's my "ode to ME" for this time being. I shall hopefully write soon again and have some "belly-bump" pictures on here soon. :)

  Precious Annabelle Jane Sanborn was born on Monday, March 24th at 9:07am. Mommy only had to push for 7 minutes!! Yay for mommy!! And Mommy should get a medal to because "Annie" weighed in at 10lb and 5 oz!!!! GO MOMMY!!!!  21 inches long, and has the long skinny fingers!! Daddy did awesome too:)

Alex was the proud big brother and he got to meet Annie about 7 hours after she was born. He gave her lots and lots of hugs and kisses through out the day, but the first thing he did to her was (and this is a Alex and daddy thing) he went up and "honked" her nose!! And THEN proceded to give her lots of lovin':)

As you can see "Bella" which will be my nickname for her already has a very strong grip. She is doing well and  and gets to go home to her new bedroom today on Tuesday. My little Bella is so precious!!! Thank you Jesus for giving us Annabelle Jane!!!

So, my mother-in-law just taught me how to defend myself if a guy ever tried to rape me. Lets see...It goes a little something like this...

WARNING - I may use to word "balls" referring to a man's nether region.  

  So a guy comes at you standing right in front of you, grabs both of your shoulders and won't let go. Most guys think you will struggle...But alot of them won't expect you to do these next couple of moves....

1. quickly drop to one knee.
2. thrust your fist upward into his groin - HARD (this will daise him for a moment)
3. as soon as you connect, then quickly grab the area known as the "balls."
4. pull down and twist balls as hard as you can.
5. RUN AND CALL FOR HELP!!!!

This should all be done in a period of about 5-10 seconds. Your abductor should fall to his knees and pass out. If he doesn't pass out he will most likely be in too much shear pain to chase after you. His manhood has been very hurt :)

So the next night, I had a dream that a guy tried to get me...I tried this exact move...It worked:) And he passed out. So ladies remember.... Let other know how to make a guy pass out in less than 10 seconds. :)
